The Town of Trumbull is in great need for a center that can bridge the gap between the community, veterans, and first responders, like the Police, & EMS. 35% of the Towns in Fairfield County do NOT have a community center for Veterans of Foreign War. 75% of these towns without, are less than 20 miles away from the Town of Trumbull. This Community Center could also act as a central hub for these underserved communities and bring people together.
02
A center for Veterans & First Responders of the local & surrounding communities, will make the Town of Trumbull the heart of Fairfield County. Trumbull would lead the way in providing help for, and serving those who serve our country without limits or expectations. This Community Center would provide many services for Veterans such as health screenings & job training opportunities. It would be also be home to fundraising opportunities and community activities.

The design for the proposed community center is one the Town of Trumbull has worked closely on with Wiles Architects. The design is intended to increase the engagement between the community, veterans, and first responders, like local police and EMS. The design is proposed to include several amenities including, but not limited to, a memorial gallery, a gathering room that can fit up to 125 people, educational spaces, and a fire pit for reflection upon the historic Kaatz Pond.

A project of this magnitude will have a major impact on not only the Town of Trumbull but also surrounding communities that include Veterans with little or no assistance. As an individual you can make a difference by donating to Trumbull's Veterans of For Foreign War's GoFundMe Campaign. Any donation large or small can mean a world of difference to a Veteran who may need support. If you are unable to donate you can still help greatly by sharing this website and our GoFundMe Campaign!
